What's the Weather like in Playacar in June

Playacar is the perfect choice for travelers who want the convenience and options of the attractions in busy Playa del Carmen but without the fast way of life and the loud nightlife. Located just a few minutes south of Playa del Carmen, Playacar is a safe and luxurious community in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico.

Temperature

June is one of the warmest months with an average temperature of 28°C (around 82°F). The lows drop down to 26°C (about 78°F) while the highs reach up to a blistering 32°C (around 89°F). Humidity levels are high this time of year too, but thanks to the ocean breezes that blow across the area, it stays pretty comfortable.

Average Sunshine Hours

The number of hours of sunshine per day drops compared to May, which has the most sunshine hours out of the year. This month, you get around 10 hours of sunshine a day, one less than you get in May. The chance of a sunny day during the month is only 5 percent and the chance of a windy day is 16 percent. You'll still want to bring sunglasses and a hat for when the sun does come out. This time of year, the sun's rays can be brutal if you're not properly protected.

Rainfall

Rainfall increases as the rainy season gets well underway, with an average of 178mm falling in the month over a matter of 12 days. With the higher rainfall amounts and more chances of having a rainy day, you'll definitely want to pack an umbrella or poncho to keep handy. Check the local forecast too before heading out, so you know exactly what to expect. The chance of rain on any given day is 32 percent and the chance of a cloudy day is 34 percent.

Average Sea Temperature

This time of year, the ocean continues to warm up, hitting an average temperature of 28°C (about 82°F). Between the rain storms, it's a great time to visit the beach and dip your toes in the water.
