The waters lining this resort host some of the biggest and most important big game fishing competitions in Bavaro and if you're lucky, you might even catch a marlin, dorado or sailfish. Some of the fish can weigh up to a staggering 900kg, so if you'd prefer something a bit more laid-back, consider diving or snorkelling.
If you want to get out and about for a bit exploring, sign up for a buggy tour. Being in control of a buggy allows you to visit off-the-beaten-track locations which most tourists never get to see. Each buggy can happily seat up to four people and if you want to drive you need to have a valid license.
