What's the Weather Like in Aruba in March

Temperature

As we leave the winter season, March in Aruba is a signal of even warmer times to come. Although the average daily temperature sits at 28°C the same as it was in February there is a change in the air. The main difference is that now we are certainly out of the rainy season, with a very dry month that sees only four days of rain in normal situations. 10mm will fall across that time, making this one of the driest points of the year.

The average highs and lows of the season span only a brief range of possibilities. From the highs of 30°C to the still warm lows of 25°C, the days remain around the same temperature week in and week out.

Sea Temperature

The average sea temperature also falls within that bracket, at 26°C around 2 degrees colder than the outside air. This means that coming out of the sea will not be a chilling experience! In fact, you may find that you prefer to swim in a hotel pool, where the temperature is regulated and you can cool off more easily. Still, we are not yet into the summer months, where the temperatures can rise even further than they are now.

Aruba remains very popular at this time of year, and for good reason. You can see similar temperatures across the island, though some areas are windier than others. You can check the weather forecast to see differences in nearby locations: in Oranjestad, for example, you will see almost exactly the same temperatures and rainfall due to the small size of the island. This is good news for those who like to do day trips and explore the rest of the area rather than staying inside a resort no matter where you go, you can be sure of that same hot climate!

A few little souvenirs can certainly be picked up here.

De Palm Island
