What's the Weather Like in Aruba in December
Temperature
Although December is the middle of winter, you will not find any snow here in Aruba. Instead, sunny days and high temperatures are still the norm, although the weather may sometimes take a turn for the worse in the form of a storm or two. The average daily temperature, even now at the end of the year, still remains as high as 27°C, take a trip to Arasji when you're in the area!
This equates to daily highs and lows which will range between 29°C and 25°C, a warm temperature range which means that you still need to wear suntan lotion when you go outside. The fantastic weather is only bested by the rain, which unfortunately will come down for just under half the days of the month a total of 13 days on average. 80 mm is going to come down, so a few of the showers may be on the heavy side, but you can still rely on the weather forecast to keep you out of the rain if you find that to be a concern. With long days still a feature of the climate here, you will have plenty of hours of sunlight in which to explore the island even if you avoid the rain.
Water Temperature
One thing that you will not have to avoid is the ocean. Even if the weather is bad for half your stay, that still leaves the rest of your holiday to lounge around on the beach and have some fun. Getting into the water will not be something that you need persuading about, as the average sea temperature is 27°C every day. That is really something to write home about! There is no reason why you should not spend Christmas here on the island, as this month is not even the coldest of the year that falls in January, when just 1°C of difference comes in to the lower range of temperatures.
