The month of May will see average temperatures start to rise further in Adeje with an average temperature of 20°C. With higher temperatures than the previous months this is certainly a good time to visit this popular holiday destination. During the month, temperatures could see a high of 23°C and lows do not go below 16°C at night. Low temperatures are still very much warm enough to enjoy your days outside especially as the hours of sunshine have also increased to 9 hours per day, which gives you plenty of time to sunbath and swim or even spend time at the waterpark.

One of the things you have to do when visiting Adeje in May is the helicopter ride above the island which is provided by Helidream Canarias. It is an excellent trip which is made better by the friendly staff and pilots. It is located in the Bajo Hotel Gran Tinerfe and is open Wednesday to Monday from 11am to 8pm. As soon as you walk into the shop, you will understand just how much the owners of this shop love their books. Because sea temperatures have started to increase, you will be able to enjoy some great days out on one of the many fabulous beaches in Adeje. One of those beaches is Playa del Bobo which is located in Costa Adeje. You will enjoy a pleasant walk along this beach as well as discover the many bars surrounding the beach. As well as bars there are plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy too. All age groups will be able to enjoy this beach and so is a great day out for families.
