September is one of the hottest months in Adeje, Tenerife, with the average temperature being 24°C. It has received a Certificate of Excellence and is perfect for couples. The hotel staff are very friendly and it is a really relaxing hotel. There are 165 rooms available in a choice of double rooms, superior rooms, deluxe villas and junior suites all of which have a balcony, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. The hotel offers activities such as a golf course, entertainment staff, hiking and a library for those book fans.

If you're looking for a good budget place to stay then we certainly recommend the Pueblo Torviscas which is an apartment building situated in Calle Valencia. It too has received a Certificate of Excellence and is popular among couples holidaying in Adeje. It is a fantastic place to stay with many holidaymakers going back more than once. It has 250 rooms which are all either studio apartments or 1 bedroom apartments with both containing a balcony/terrace, kitchen, satellite TV and an in-room safe. Facilities on location include a pool table, table tennis, an outdoor swimming pool and a pool bar.

If you're looking for a bit of luxury then book a stay at the Melia Jardines Del Teide which is ideal for both families and couples and will leave you wanting to go back again and again. It is a 4 star hotel and has 300 rooms in total. There are a mix of rooms including deluxe double rooms, premium double rooms, junior suites and family junior suites all of which have a balcony, flat screen TV, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. There is plenty of things to do at the hotel including a golf course, table tennis, squash and a spa and wellness centre.

Things to Do

If you want to do something a little different during your stay in Adeje then join in on the Rafting Bike which is a bicycle hire shop situated in Lugar las Nieves. A coach will pick you up from your hotel and take you up to Mount Teide where you will then be provided with your bicycles to cycle down with the rest of the group and group leaders.

Hit the Beach

While other locations may be quieting down during September, Adeje is still boasting warm temperatures and so hitting the beach is definitely a must. A good beach to visit is the Playa Fanabe beach in Costa Adeje. There are some really lovely restaurants nearby for when you get hungry after all the swimming and there is a huge floating jungle gym to swim out to and have fun with too. There are a couple of playgrounds to keep the kids entertained if they've had enough of building sandcastles and a gorgeous promenade to walk along too.

Another great beach to visit is the El Duque beach which is a great day out for everyone. There are plenty of things to do as well relaxing and swimming including shopping and delicious restaurants and cafes to eat at.

Restaurants and Nightlife

A popular place to eat is the CHAR Modern Cocina & Grill which is a Mediterranean restaurant located in La Caleta.  They have an incredibly talented chef and really friendly staff to provide a service like no other. Because it one of the best restaurants in the area, you need to make a booking if you want to eat here, especially at the busy lunch and dinner times. It certainly is modern dining at its best.

If you're looking for a bit of evening entertainment outside of your hotel then definitely go to the Casablanca Piano Bar which is located in Costa Adeje. You cannot fault this place; it is truly lovely with the owners being so friendly and it has a really beautiful atmosphere.
