The weather really starts to heat up in July in Adeje, Tenerife, with the average temperature being 23°C. This is higher than the previous month before but still not as hot as August so it can be a very good time to have a holiday in this popular destination. The hotel has a range of activities too such as an arcade room, outdoor pool, tennis court and a children's club.

If luxury is what you want for your stay in July, then we recommend the Hotel Riu Palace Tenerife which is a 4 star hotel located near the popular and beautiful Playa del Duque beach. It has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence and the hotel has been refurbished to up its standards even more. It has a total of 334 rooms including single rooms, double rooms, junior suites and family rooms. All of the rooms have free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, minibar and satellite TV. Here you will find amenities such as a wellness centre, artificial beach, infinity pool and unique fresh water pools.

One of the most popular hotels to stay in is the Sunset Harbour Club which is a 3 star hotel located close to the Puerto Colon Yacht Club. It has received a Certificate of excellence and is very popular with couples. It is in a great location with many things to do within walking distance and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Things to Do

Everyone loves to do a bit of shopping when away to find some gifts to take back home with them. If you're looking for something special to buy then head to the Tenerife Pearl which is jewellery store located in Armenime. It really is a shiny place with prices for all budgets, whether you are buying for yourself or for a gift. You will never see so many pearls in all your life, the variety of pearl jewellery is mind-blowing you will have a lot of fun browsing through this shop.

Because the weather is so beautiful in July, you will want to find some great outdoor activities to do. If you have been to the beach and want something else to do, visit the Barranco del Infierno which is a ravine located in Costa Adeje. It is a truly beautiful hiking trail but make sure it is open before setting off by calling the visitor centre. The trail is an easy one and so you don't have to be a seasoned hiker to enjoy this great day out, but do take plenty of water if it is a hot day.

Hit the Beach

July falls in the middle of summer and if there is one thing you need to do when visiting Adeje in summer it is to visit their glorious beaches. One of these glorious beaches is the Playa del Duque beach which is the most popular beach among Adeje holidaymakers. It really is breath-taking and a great place to relax in the summer sunshine. If you're hungry, there are also many restaurants around to choose from.
