Zanzibar is an amazing archipelago located near Tanzania on the eastern coast of Africa. Entrants from all across Africa and the rest of the world are invited to showcase their short films, feature length films, animation and even experimental films. Documentaries are also showcased at the event.
In addition to all of the featured films, visitors to Zanzibar during the ZIFF, also known locally as the Festival of the Dhow Countries, will get to experience nearly two weeks of non-stop partying.
Some of the best parties of the year hosted by DJ's from around the globe are thrown during this festival and visitors will get to enjoy loads of live music, dancing, eating and drinking to their heart's content.
