Tofuya-Yukai
Tofuya-Yukai, Tokyo's most gracious restaurants is located in a former sake brewery (moved from northern Japan), with an exquisite traditional garden, in the shadow of Tokyo Tower. Seasonal preparations of tofu and accompanying dishes are served in the refined kaiseki style. Make reservations well in advance. Vegetarians should tell the staff when they book.
Tempura Kondo
Nobody in Tokyo does tempura vegetables like Tempura Kondo. The carrots are julienned to a fine floss; the corn is pert, juicy; and the sweet potato is comfort food at its finest. Courses include seafood too, picked up that morning from Tsukiji. Lunch service at noon or 1.30pm; last dinner booking at 8.30pm. Reserve ahead.

Nezu Shrine
Nezu Shrine is at the peak of its spring beauty when the Shrine's thousands of famous azalea bushes bloom pink and white on its spacious hillside garden in April. Nezu Shrine is also popular as a venue for traditional Japanese weddings.
Kanda Shrine
The red Kanda Shrine has played the most important role in Tokyo Shinto. The shrine is ideally situated in downtown Chiyoda-ku, and the Kami (god spirits) ehrined hre include two of the Seven Gods of Fortune, making this the ideal place to make your prayers for wealth and success in business. Many choose to visit this shrine on there trip to Tokyo.
Senso-ji
Sensō-ji is an ancient Buddhist temple located in Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan. It is Tokyo's oldest temple, and one of its most significant. Formerly associated with the Tendai sect of Buddhism, it became independent after World War II. Many tourists due to visit the temple, and January is a good time to choose due to being less busy.
Cherry Blossom
The city has dozens of excellent cherry blossom spots that bloom until mid April. Different varieties of sakura trees are planted around the city that peak at different times making the season fairly long.
