I went in December and my husband told me to pack warm clothes.. None of which I needed! It was sunny and warm and not one drop of rain for the entire trip. I didn't need my coat at all and was a little uncomfortable in my jumper, jeans and boots. maybe a top with a thin jacket and shoes were more suitable. Night times were a little cold though especially as the apartments are concrete with tile floors so we had a little oil radiator but during the day we had the balcony doors open.
Holiday
It was a real cultural experience! The people are friendly and try their best to make you comfortable. Although I will say be prepared to be stared at and whispered about, I found it quiet amusing as they meant no harm but were curious. Also when they see you are foreign they bump the prices up as you will see in markets and suvanier shops there are no prices.

Weather
Weather can be very hot during the Summer months with winter being wet and cold.
Lovely country , beautiful beaches and coastline.
Some unspoilt beaches in the South.
Albania is opening up to tourism at last.
DO NOT expect 5 star accommodation .Holiday
It is a Cultrural experience not to be missed. I have enjoyed Albania for past 15 years so have seen lots of changes.
Great beaches, very unspoilt, similar to Robinson Crusoe island.Recommend Tirana to others?
