there is no shame going out in your bathing suit. Rainfall is limited to just 5 days of the month (even then it is very light) and the average temperature is a comfortable 25 degrees.

July is a great time to visit one of the most pristine ecological reserves near Thessaloniki which is none other than the fantastic Sani resort. Sani is a family-owned reserve spanning more than 1000 acres and includes a cozy hotel, and a cool beach club. Sani's beaches are some of the most clean and azure in the whole of Chalkidiki. Situated in the north-western side of the Kassandra peninsula, Sani is very accessible and driving there from Thessaloniki typically takes a bit more than an hour.

For those who wish to stay within the city's confines and enjoy some quality summer entertainment, the Shark club is one of the most prestigious clubs and is the place to go this time of the year. If you wish to meet people, socialize, dance and have fun with locals and tourists alike, then the Shark club should be your destination as the sun goes down.

Just above the Shark club, you can find one of the famous pastry and confectionery shops of Chatzis. Chatzis shops are open 24/7 during the high season and many clubbers leaving the Shark club go there for an early morning coffee after a wild night out. The Chatzis store across the street from the Shark club is a great place to socialize with the men and women you've just met and danced with at the club.

Chatzis itself is a great place to buy unique sweet creations too. Inspired by Turkish and Greek cuisine, Chatzis offers a staggering array of premium quality sweets that satisfy even the most demanding dessert connoisseurs.
