Route 66
Located just across from the Barcelo Santiago, Route 66 in Puerto de Santiago is a must-visit if you want live music. Many bands perform here, including Old Dogs New Tricks, Black Hole and Traveller Blues Band. This bar gets packed out quickly, so it's recommended that you get there early if you want a seat for the show which starts at 9pm. The well-stocked bar offers a huge selection of local and international beers, ciders, wine, spirits and soft drinks, all of which are priced reasonably for the area.
The Irish Times
The Irish Times in Los Cristianos is another great place to go for evening entertainment and it also broadcasts many live sporting events from their large screen. The evening entertainment is hosted by John Cusack one of Tenerife's most popular entertainers and is comprised of live singers and groups, most of which are Irish. Entertainment begins early evening around 8pm and carries on well into the early hours.

The Monkey Park
The Monkey Park in Arona is a great place to visit in February, when the temperatures are relatively cool and the chance of a cloudy day is quite high. Often referred to as the "biggest little zoo in the world", this animal park is the breeding centre for various endangered species of monkeys, including gibbons, golden lion tamarins, drill monkeys and squirrel monkeys. But that's not all the Monkey Park is also home to big cats, parrots, lemurs and reptiles.
The highlight of the Monkey Park is the interaction enclosure which you can enter and have a hands-on experience with many of the animals.
Piramide de Arona
If you want to see a show during your stay, see what's on at the Pirámide de Arona. This impressive building is home to suberb dance and music shows Carmen Mota is the resident performance . This innovative and surprising musical combines dance, opera and Flamenco and is an adapted version of 'Rigoletto'. The show is completely mesmerising and a must see.
