Tataouine is located in the North African country of Tunisia. Due to the countryâs unusual shape along the coast, it borders the Mediterranean Sea to the north, Algeria to the west and Libya to the east. The country is known for its abundant beaches, sunshine and inexpensive, laid back lifestyle.
