Tamarindo, Costa Rica is a town situated in the Province of Guanacaste. This distrito, as the locals would say, beautifies the Northen Pacific coast of the country.
The weather here is more than predictable, for it only has two seasons over the year. The climate is a dry tropical one and it can be shown by the high humidity and temperature. January is a very dry month, belonging to the dry season which lasts from November until April. The rainfall in this period is very low, almost nonexistent, while the average temperature is 27degrees Celsius (81 degrees Fahrenheit). For those used to the European climate and four seasons, the change between the locations will be a little bit weird.
Being the dry season, the humidity is lower than in the wet season. The night temperature drops by almost 10 degrees Celsius, but the environment will still be comfortable and cosy for anybody. Winds are also expected, mostly in January-February. Even though the winds are high and could be dangerous, the most-loved sport around the beach is the windsurfing.
Luckily for the surf lovers, there are packages for singles or family, for 8 days and 7 nights, with accommodation at two different hotels in Tamarindo and San Jose. A rented 4x4 car will be also included in the £555 package. The experience could be unbelievable, mostly for all the beach has to offer, with or without the seasonal wind.
For the visitors on a budget who have to include in the entire sum provided for the trip even the flight, means of transport and also money for the activities which can be found on the beautiful beaches, good quality accommodation is available at Best Western Tamarindo Vista Villas, starting from £70 per night. The hotel, situated right across the street from the sands of Tamarindo, is also close to the centre of the town.
