Located on The Black Sea coast, Sunny Beach Resort is the most popular resort in Bulgaria with one of the largest stretches of fine sandy beach, and the only natural sand dunes remaining on this coast. The beach is always going to be popular in Sunny Beach so it's time to head there and get active with the water-sports on offer. Parasailing, jetskiing, banana boats, swimming - you name it, you'll find it in Sunny Beach.
Top up your tan before returning home to the grey skies! Of course, your hotel pool will still be open during this still very warm month, and you can generally visit most hotels and use their larger pools if yours isn't so great.
Nessebar
Head to Nessebar and explore the ancient ruins, stopping off at the small beach nearby. You can easily make a full day of this by jumping on the local bus and enjoying a delicious, traditional meal at a small restaurant in the old part of town, before returning back to Sunny Beach in the evening, ready for your night's partying fun.
Luna Park
Children would love a trip to Luna Park, Sunny Beach's very own amusement park. With rollercoasters, white knuckle rides and carousels for the younger children it is a fun day out for all.
