Albena Beach
Bulgaria's Black Sea Coast has a fantastic, reliable bus service, which means heading away from the resort when you feel like exploring is easy. Just two hours away you will find the beautiful and very calm Albena Beach.
Of course, most beaches during these months are quiet, but this is a slice of serenity, away from everything and extremely relaxing. Wide and fine-grained sand will greet you, with a gentle breeze ever present. There are good underwater fishing opportunities here during season, and this is also possible in March.

Chaika Resort
If you're staying in the Chaika Resort then you are spoilt for choice when it comes to your evening's entertainment and dining options, as there are several to choose from, including the Metropol Restaurant, Club Mystic, and Chaika Restaurant to name just a few.
Equally, any hotel which is open at this time of year will have several options on-site to counteract the lack of a huge selection out on the street during the off-season period in Sunny Beach.
Things to Do in Sunny Beach in March
March sees the calm before the storm, as next month the tourists begin to arrive in dribs and drabs; this makes March the ideal time to enjoy rest and relaxation, and there is no better way than by heading to a spa for a few treatments and a little 'me' time.
Spa
The large hotels will all have spa facilities, some larger than others, however Barcelo Royal Beach Hotel and Chaika Beach Hotel all have particularly large facilities to enjoy total peace and tranquillity during these quieter months.
Explore Countryside
Of course, getting out and about around Sunny Beach is also to be advised, and this is a great time to hire a car and explore the surrounding countryside. The roads around resort are well marked and safe, and provided you have a valid driving licence you are able to head off and enjoy the Black Sea Coast in all its glory.
Sozopol
History lovers will want to head to the charming town of Sozopol, located near Burgas and very similar in style to the nearby Nesebar. You'll find characterful wooden houses, cobblestoned alleyways and a quaint fishing harbour, all of which are easy to explore thanks to a lack of crowds at this time of year.
Varna
The bustling coastal city of Varna is only a short journey away from Sunny Beach and has much to offer in the way of tourist attractions, meaning you could easily spend a day here. One recommendation is the magnificent Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin, which never fails to impress visitors with its ornate golden domes and intricate decorations.
