While August happens to fall in the wet season in St. Kitts, the total amount of rainfall during the month isn't anything to worry about. Hit the Beach

With an afternoon temperature averaging 31°C, you will want to spend your afternoons on the beach and in the ocean. A superb place to do just that is in Banana Bay, a stunning beach situated at the very tip of the southeastern peninsula. This part of the island requires a carr taxi rideo get to, but is home to the greatest collection of beaches. Banana Bay beach has pristine water, soft white sand, coconut trees swaying in the sea breeze and undisturbed quietness.

Eating and Drinking Out

A hugely popular venue in St. Kitts is the Reggae Beach Bar & Grill. It specialises in fresh seafood and barbecued meatsavourites include the grilled lobster, coconut shrimp, spare ribs and conch chowder. Occupying its own section of a gorgeous sand beach, this is also a strongly recommended place to go for refreshing cocktails. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, outdoor showers and a beach volleyball court.

Delicious Italian food is found at Ciao Ristorante Italiano in Frigate Bay. This popular and well-rated restaurant is the perfect place to go when you're craving Italian dishes. Its menu features everything from pastas to pizzas.

More ethnic food can be enjoyed at Karma Asian Cuisine & Lounge, also located in Frigate Bay. The restaurant serves mouthwatering Indian, Chinese and Thai food, while the club and lounge next door is the place to be for after-dinner drinks and parties.

Things to Do

August may fall in the wet season, but the average temperature of 28°C and 9 daily hours of sunshine still indicate that there's plenty of time to enjoy the outdoors.
