The more adventurous can hire a guide and head down into the lower St. Michael's Cave. The trip to the lower cave requires lots of climbing and sliding but you're rewarded with a cool lagoon and amazing rock formations at the bottom.

Tennis lovers can take in a match on a cool November day at the El Octogono, offering tennis camps, court rentals, and lessons. The club has three clay courts and three hard courts and is conveniently located only minutes from Sotogrande. You can also play on several paddle ball courts. After your match, head to the comfortable club house with pro shop, outdoor bar, and cosy lounge area.

The Mediterranean Sea invites you to go on a fishing tour and try your hand at catching some deep sea fish. Numerous private yachts are available for rent, complete with experienced crews to help you on your trip. They also provide all the gear. Many of the tours take you to the Straits of Gibraltar where you can do deep-sea fishing and trolling for marlin and tuna.

Eating and Drinking Out

Bringing the flavours of India right to the Spanish coast, New Delhi Indian Restaurant is conveniently located in the centre of Sotogrande. You'll find traditional dishes like tandoori, tikka, kebabs, Balti, mango dishes, and korma. The large menu also has a kids' section and vegetarian options. To complement your meal, try a red, white, or rosé wine, including several local vintages.

A mix of Spanish, Mediterranean, and seafood cuisine, Restaurante Mara sits in the heart of Sotogrande. All of the dishes are prepared with fresh and local ingredients whenever possible and the chefs take great care to craft high quality meals. Open for lunch and dinner, the restaurant offers dishes like seafood paella, ahi tuna steaks, crab salad, salmon, prawns, and oysters.

For good sushi fast, try Sotomaki in Sotogrande, not far from the beach. The large menu includes all your favourites like California rolls, tuna rolls, and sashimi. If you have a group dining together, try the Sushi for 4, with a variety of sushi choices to split with the table. The restaurant even delivers in the Sotogrande area if you don't want to leave the comfort of your hotel room.
