What's the Weather Like in Sorrento in August
August remains the hottest month of the year in Sorrento, a gorgeous coastal town on the Amalfi coast in southern Italy.
Temperature
August has an average temperature of 24°C, which is the absolute annual high. The average nighttime lows and daytime highs are also at their maxima in August, not dropping below 18°C at night and rising to 29°C in the afternoon. August 6 is historically the hottest day of the year with an average afternoon temperature of 31°C. In the course of the month, however, both the low and high temperatures decrease a tiny bit. Just like the air temperature, the sea temperature reaches its annual high this time of year.
