The festivities always start on a Thursday (Dijous Gras) when the King of the Carnival leads a parade and hallmarks the beginning of festivities. On Saturday s the 'Rua de la Disbauya', which loosely translates to the 'Debauchery Parade' and attracts more than 40 floats with over 2000 people dressed in costumes. It is a very colourful and jubilant affair, though it can lean towards the risqué.
