What's the Weather like in Singapore in November
Rainfall
Come November in Singapore, the northeast monsoon season is just around the corner, which will usher in the highest rainfall totals for the year. This month sees a big jump in rainfall, up to 250 mm of rain compared to 191 mm that fell in October. It's a good idea to have an umbrella or poncho packed, and you might even want a pair of galoshes to keep your feet dry as you're exploring the island.
Even if you're forced inside because of the rain, you'll still have plenty of choices to keep you entertained. The area is known for a plethora of dining options and lots of shopping choices.
Temperature
The average daily temperature varies for the first time in several months, dropping down to 26°C (about 79°F), compared to December, which has an average temperature of around 26°C (about 79°F).
At night, the lows still drop down to 24°C (around 75°F), a near perfect temperature for spending time outdoors.
The average high is still warm but not as hot as it has been, topping out at 30°C (about 86°F). Even with the drop in average and high temperatures, you'll still want to pack the warm-weather clothing like short-sleeved shirts and shorts.
Average Sunshine Hours
You can expect around 6 hours of sunshine each day, so bring along the sunglasses for the rare moments you'll see the sun. The rain falls an average of 25 days this month, so the times for seeing the sun will be few and far between.
Average Sea Temperature
Because of the cloudy and rainy days, you probably won't be spending much time down at the beach. If you do get brave and venture that way, you'll be treated with warm water, averaging 29°C (around 84°F). Be sure to bring along a high-quality sunscreen with a high SPF. The cloudy days can be deceiving, but you can still get a nasty sunburn thanks to a high UV index.
