Very enjoyable, went there end of June 23. Apartments very nice. Entertainment in all bars very professional.

The Weather was brilliant and the beach was very clean and nice to relax on.

The Apartments we had wear very dirty over run with rats and wasps due to the friut season. The place was .......... the phrase I would like to use I could not write.
Never go with Olympic Holidays as the Rep doesn't want to know when you complain about the dirty conditions, as we were told 'what do you expect for 2 star accomdation?' - well for us we would at least expect clean room, hot water, lighting, we had none of that. Our Olympic rep told us he would cancel our flights and make us leave the appartment if we did not stop recording his explanation - he referred to the situation as a matter for the travel agent not him. But hang on, don't Olympic sell the holidays to the Travel Agent?
We found the drinks wear over priced in the town - Mattisons bar, 2.80 for a lemonade and we had five kids! The beer went up and down in price all night. The kids went ill with ring worm and foot and mouth. The place is a commercial theatre, one big tragic drama.
My advice is go some place you dont get ripped off from the civilzation of proper cow boys.
In one word (SACRIFICE) the worst holiday we have ever had, very unpleasant stay. The beach was the best part of the holiday. This site has asked me to rate the Accommodation - for me i would rate it a big fat zero but i have to put one star so as some one gets to read this and save hard earned money.Recommend Sidari to others?

When we arrived on the monday the weather was quite hot until friday night. Storm lasted right through the night. Then rained saturday, on and off. After that the weather started to get hotter again.
Holiday
All in all very good.
Unfortunately, went out for a meal at the Captains Restaurant, just before the main strip into Sidari centre, only to question the bill when it came. It had bread and butter added to the cost. When the owner of the place came over he scratched the extra cost off but became very abusive and told us to leave and started using very stong swear words to us. Not a very good place to go as this man has a very bad atitude toward his customers and I would not recommend anyone going there.Recommend Sidari to others?

The weather last time we went (may 2007) was pleasant, very warm but a breeze was present. Sometimes it could be cloudy, meaning when a cloud covered the sun it could get a little colder, but otherwise gorgeous temperatires.
Holiday
Our holiday was great over all. We had a pool literally 3 metres away from where we were staying, and the beach wasn't busy at all, and was only a 10 minute walk away.
Depending on where you stay, most appartments are very basic, but very hygenic and clean. I don't see why you would need satalite tv, afterall, most bars offer this and you won't be spending your time in your accomadtion anyways. Furthermore, the appartment we stayed in is perfect for all we needed it for; sleeping in.
The sea was warm enough to swim in, and there were plenty of trips to go on. We heard about an aqualand in Corfu, but heard an accident had took place there, so we didn't go. However, we did visit Corfu Town which was beautiful, and the glass-bottomed sea boat was an amazing experience, where you went underneath the surface of the boat, and divers would bring things like octapusses and Lobsters up to show you.
For younger kids there is Go-Karting, trampolining and little arcades, but I imagine the pools will be the main thing to do, as well as sunbathing.
There was almost an unlimited choice of bars and restaurants, from Mexican to Chinese (both VERY nice), English, Greek, the list is endless.Recommend Sidari to others?
