Another great day trip is to head to Tiran Island to experience one of the best areas in the world to snorkel. One option is to book through Sharm-Club.com. This tour includes everything, starting with a pick up from your hotel to the jetty and your boat for the day. You will sail two hours north east along the Gulf of Aqaba, which is 1800 meters deep. You eventually arrive to Tiran Island and of course snorkel and swim. Lunch is provided on the boat and you can expect to be back to your hotel by 5pm.
Hit the beach
A must visit beach while in Shark's Bay, is of course, Shark's Bay Beach. This beach is more suited to divers and snorkelers as the actual sand portion is not substantial. However, with what it lacks with sand it makes up with the species seen in the water. Once you enter the water you will see a multitude of fish including parrot and clownfish. There are of course still sunbeds available if you'd rather just lie back and relax.
Eating & drinking out
A great place to hang out and have a drink is the Farsha Chill Out Cafe located in Sharm el Sheikh. Farsha Café offers a 180 degrees view of the Red Sea, Ras Mohammed National Park and some of the most active diving spots in the area. There is beach access and you will have a large variety of drinks available such as coffee, tea or beer. Shisha is also available as well as several snacks such as pizza.
For an East meets West type of cuisine head to Café Royal Sharm El Sheikh. Serving up Egyptian and European dishes, this café has options such as mixed grill, fish & chips and veal escalope. The staff here is very attentive and welcoming and will be sure to invite you back.
