Domina Coral Bay Elisir was built as a concept to serve their guests' every need. Offering an oriental atmosphere, this five star all-inclusive resort has 89 rooms, which all include a balcony or terrace. Other amenities consist of smart satellite television, digital safe and walk in closet. There are four restaurants and seven bars that include two pool bars and two beach bars on the private beach.
Another great five star luxury choice is the Iberotel Palace in Sharm el Sheikh. There are 301 rooms and suites, which have been tastefully furnished. These include a view of the pool or garden and have air conditioning, a safe, mini bar, satellite television and sometimes a balcony or terrace. There are three restaurants and two bars including a pool/beach bar. For those with kids, there is a kids' club and children pool available.
Things to do
A must do for your holiday to Shark's Bay is one of the numerous day trips offered by Book Tour Egypt. A great option is to do Luxor tour by plane. This is a one-day excursion that has you flying to Luxor to see the most famous sights in one day including the Karnak Temple, Valley of Kings and the Hatshepsut Temple. At £125 for adults and £100 for children, this trip includes flights, all transfers in Sharm el Sheikh and Luxor, entrance fees, English speaking tour guide and lunch in Luxor.
Animal lovers should check out Mangroovy Horses located in Sharm el Sheikh. There are many short trips offered on horses including a sunrise ride, trip to the desert, trip to the seaside and a full moon ride. Riding lessons are also offered. Make sure you inquire about customising your trip as individual requests are encouraged.
Hit the beach
If you have come to Shark's Bay with the intention to learn to dive or to snorkel, one of the best places to do so is the Coral Reefs in Dahab. This area is much more laid back than other resorts in the area. There is no admission for beach access and plenty of opportunities to learn to scuba dive. Those with experience will love to dive in this area as the marine life is incredible and the water is crystal clear.
Eating & drinking out
Sports lovers and those looking for a night out should head to the Palm Lounge Café located in Naama Bay. Even if a match is not on cable the bartenders will use Wi-Fi to stream the match you would like to see. Prices are reasonable and there are plenty of drinks as well as shisha to choose from.
If you are looking for a change of pace, head to II Vizietto Italian Restaurant for some delicious authentic Italian cuisine. II Vizietto serves up the best pizza in the area and is made in a traditional wood oven. Those that prefer other dishes have plenty of choices form homemade pasta and fresh seafood dishes.
