Sarigerme Beach is a long stretch of sand, where you can lounge on a sunbed or partake in one of the many watersports in the area. Kiteboarding in particular is very popular in the area. Though close to many resorts, it tends to stay quiet and uncrowded. The shore gently slopes from its shallows, great for kids to splash around. Take note that on some days, the winds are quite strong. There is a small entrance fee to the beach, collected by the Sarigerme Environmental Education Association and goes directly to beach maintenance. You can enjoy all the normal beach facilities like picnic tables, sun beds, umbrellas, cafes and toilets.
Alternatively, travellers can lounge on nearby Iztuzu Beach or swim in its Aegean waters. Its shallow waters are great for children.
