Exo Gialos Beach

Make the most of the warm sea water temperatures and spend the day at Exo Gialos Beach. Folklore Museum of Santorini

The Folklore Museum of Santorini is a historic attraction worthy of a visit during your holiday. Located between Fira and Vourvoulos, this museum is a great place to learn all about the history and culture of the local people through various displays. Some of the most popular exhibits include a typical cave house, traditional winery, cavern, workshops, art gallery, historical archives, landscaped garden, chapel and photo gallery. Whether you're interested in learning how the locals make wine or want to see how they lived hundreds of years ago, this museum is a great place to while away a few hours.

Santorini Donkey

Another family-friendly option is to take a ride with Santorini Donkey, which offers a more traditional way of getting about the island. Comprising a number of different routes on both horse and donkey, visitors can choose between treks along the beach or to meander through the villages of Oia and Fira. All you need to do is send an email, pay a small deposit and away you go. 

Tomato Industrial Museum

If you're beset with an overcast day at some point during your visit then head to the Tomato Industrial Museum, which forms the backbone of the island's arts community.
