What's The Weather Like In Santa Susanna In October

Temperature

Average high temperatures reach up to 22°C on an almost daily basis throughout October. However, historically, Santa Susanna has seen temperatures rise up to 33°C during the tenth month of the year. Therefore it is always advisable to use sun protection regularly, especially during the hottest hours in the middle of the day when the sun can still be very strong.

Average temperatures will usually remain at a very pleasant 17°C for the entire month of October. Average low temperatures will usually fall to 11°C at this time of year. This means that, if you are going out at night, a light coat or extra layer may be necessary, especially if you intend to come home in the early hours of the morning.

Rain

This is one of the wettest months of the year in Santa Susanna. And though expected rainfall of 79mm of rainfall is generally only beaten by May and November in terms of average precipitation, when compared with other parts of northern Spain this is still relatively dry. However, in comparison with most of Southern Spain in places such as Malaga, 79mm is still considered considerable for this time of year.

The thunderstorm season also continues throughout October which means some rainfall can be significant. However any form of rain will only be expected on 10 days in October, ensuring warm, sunny days are still the norm.

Sea Temperature

But as far as the sea temperature is concerned, October is a wonderful time to hit the water. Thanks to the warm weather in July, August and September, average sea temperatures remain at a very warm 22°C in October. This warm sea climate ensures there is still plenty of wildlife for snorkelers and divers, and a very inviting environment for those that just want to swim.
