June is the official start of summer in Santa Susanna. Long days of warm sun ensure tourists from all over the world flock to this part of Northern Spain to enjoy the fabulous climate.
What's The Weather Like In Santa Susanna In June
The days get brighter, the air gets warmer, and the lack of rain makes this a beautiful place for beach lovers, for explorers and for hikers of all ages. It is a popular place for both couples and families, all of whom want to enjoy a little early summer sun.
Temperature
Average temperatures of 21°C are achieved on an almost daily basis with average highs of 27°C common throughout June. But because of the off-shore wind and the breeze from the Pyrenees, the sun can feel a lot milder than it actually is. Therefore sun protection is always required.
Even at night, the beautiful weather doesn't stop. Average lows of 14°C make air conditioning essential in any type of accommodation. But when it comes to enjoying the nightlife, there is nothing stopping you.
Sunshine Hours
Warmer weather and up to 12 hours of expected daily sunshine mean the sea temperature rises significantly in June. And while the temperature can be closer to the 18°C average in May near the beginning of the month, by the end of the 30 days of June, you can expect sea temperatures averaging 21°C, making the beach a must for all visitors.
Rain
Just like many other parts of Spain, the chance of rain rapidly reduces in this month. There are still probably 10 days of the month that will experience some rainfall. But with only 62mm of precipitation expected throughout the entire period, rainfall is light and, in many days, will be unnoticeable.
June in Santa Susanna provides the opportunity to experience the warmth of the region before the hottest months of July and August arrive. And for those that want to enjoy Santa Susanna before the main crowds of the peak season descend, the month of June has the ability to truly satisfy.
