As spring arrives in Santa Susanna the weather temperature starts to heat up a little. But it will still be a few months before the high summer heats are seen.

What's The Weather Like In Santa Susanna In April

Temperature

Visitors at this time of year can expect average temperatures of 13°C throughout April in Santa Susanna. Although average highs can reach up to 19°C during peak times of the day. Historically, temperatures have reached a maximum of 30°C back in 2011, but temperatures this high are very scarce, and somewhere in the late teens or early 20s is far more likely.

Average lows also improve in April, with the average low temperature never really falling below 7°C. However there have been some records of temperatures falling below zero in April, so make sure you do have an extra layer in case the night cools significantly.

Rain

As with many parts of Northern Europe, April is one of the wettest months of the year in Santa Susanna, with the latter part of the month usually experiencing most of the rainfall. However with only 11 days of the month expecting any precipitation, it is far drier than most areas of the UK.

In total, 73mm of rain are expected to fall throughout the entire month of April. But with most rain showers only lasting a short period of time, the chances of a heavy deluge or a storm are relatively small.

Sunshine Hours

Expected daily sunshine hours rise to 10 hours per day in April. And while this is still far away from the 13 hours usually experienced in July, Santa Susanna still offers a bright, warm climate to its visitors.

Sea Temperature

With all that sunshine, even the sea temperatures start to improve. April usually sees average sea temperatures of approximately 15°C. But as the month progresses into May, temperatures nearing 18°C become far more likely. And while many visitors will think it is still too cold to get into the water, don't be surprise if you see the locals enjoying the milder weather with a little more vigour.
