What's the Weather like in San Agustin in November
While not at its absolute best, November is still another good weather month here in sub-tropical San Agustin. Rainfall increases modestly and temperatures are a tad cooler than their summertime counterparts, but just about anytime is a good time to visit this island resort town. Visiting outside of the busy season has its own benefits: you'll fight less crowds and will have greater success scouting out value deals at accommodations, restaurants and shopping centres.
Temperature
The average temperature for the month is the same as in both of the neighbouring months of October and December at 18°C. While this doesn't present the warmest beach conditions to be found at this time of year, it is considerably warmer than the Spanish coastal city of Malaga, another popular beach destination, which experiences an average temperature of 16°C for the month. The benefit of travelling a bit further south towards the equator is evident in this comparison.
Travellers visiting during the month should plan for weather ranging between 23°C and 14°C, the respective average high and low temperatures for this time of year. This should be as simple as including a few heavier layers to adorn overtop of lighter, daytime appropriate clothing.
Rainfall
Rainfall continues its rising trend this month, dropping an annual average of 15mm of accumulated precipitation across a span of eight non-consecutive days. As the year progresses travellers need to be prepared for increasing amounts of rain by packing accordingly.
Average Sunshine Hours
Correlated with rise in rainfall during the month is a shrinking of average daily sunshine hours. With eight hours of average daily sunshine this month receives two hours less of daily sunshine when compared to the previous month.
Average Sea Temperature
Ocean temperatures begin to fall from their annual high this month. The Atlantic is expected to register a cooler 22°C here during this, the penultimate month of the year.

Eating & Drinking Out:
Gran Slow Boat
It's hard to miss the bright and shinning façade of Gran Slow Boat, a favourite Chinese kitchen buffet on the island. The large neon sign bordered by hanging painted lanterns draws in the hungry traveller. Once seated you have the option to dine from the inexpensive buffet, or to order a la carte. The buffet is a great value with plenty of tasty dishes to choose from. But if there is something particular you are in the mood for, browse the menu for a fresh cooked dish from the chefs in the kitchen.
Restaurant Beach Club
The nautical-inspired Restaurant Beach Club offers white tablecloth fine dining in a casual environment. The restaurant has a great location on the beach. On the menu they offer fresh catches from the local fisherman. You can dine inside the rustic, wood-finished dining room, or out on the poolside terrace. The dishes that arrive are as artful as they are delicious. The chefs take great pains to ensure everything that leaves the kitchen is outstanding, and their high-esteem in the restaurant community proves it.
El Capitan
El Capitan occupies some prime real estate right off San Agustin beach. Request a table on the terrace overlooking the sandy beach and enjoy the restaurant's fare mingled with the fresh sea air. The menu contains a wide breadth of selections, catering to a vast appeal. The trick is to inquire about the current local specials. Then your server will reveal what the chefs are currently most proud of, usually some new, off-menu invention. This will usually be the best choice for more adventurous diners.
