What's the Weather like in San Agustin in June
June is another gorgeous month in San Agustin, the small resort town located on the southeast coast of the Gran Canaria Island. It's a warm, comfortable month with very little rain and lots of healthy sunshine. It's a great time to choose this destination as the weather is ideal but still the crowds have not yet swelled to their high-season levels that occur in July and August.
Temperature
At this, the sixth month of the year, the daily average temperature remains consistent with the five previous months at 19°C. At this point, one might be led to believe this trend would carry throughout the year, but not true: the average temperatures begin to rise slightly in July before falling again beginning in October.
This month sees the average high temperature rising to a new peak at 25°C. Temperatures still drop as low as in previous months, falling to 13°C during some nights. This is a broader range of temperatures than at any time prior in the year. Travellers should pack an array of clothing in preparation, ranging from light and breezy articles to slightly heavier layers.
Rainfall
Rainfall drops this month to the extent that it hardly exists. 1mm of rainfall is expected across the span of two days. While you may experience short spells of light drizzling rain during a stay this month, you can safely plan for nearly endless days of dry and sunny weather. The island resort town continues to enjoy eleven sunshine hours per day throughout this month, only to be beat out by July when sunshine hours peak at twelve hours per day.
Average Sea Temperature
Another good weather trend is in the works this month as sea temperatures rise for the second consecutive month. The Atlantic will reach 21°C making for slightly better swimming conditions in the ever abundant ocean waters.
