What's the Weather like in San Agustin in July

Welcome to the hottest month of the year in San Agustin, the small, southeast resort town on the island of Gran Canaria. While it is indeed the hottest month by recorded average, that doesn't mean you should plan for stuffy, muggy days. Here, the weather is always temperate, and that fact stands true for this month. That's the beauty of this sub-tropical holiday destination.

Temperature

The average temperature of the month is a mild but warm 20°C. The warmest days can accomplish highs reaching 25°C, while the coolest night time temperatures shouldn't drop below 13°C. When preparing for a trip to the sub-tropics in the summer months you'll want to pack heavier on lighter clothing. However, don't underestimate the briskness of island summer nights. Be sure to bring some long trousers and a sweatshirt or two for evenings out among the streets.

Rainfall

On the other hand, you are safe to leave all rain attire and gear back at home during a trip to the island resort this month. Rain is practically non-existent. A brief shower may occur once throughout the month, but that short incident of cloud spray won't even account for a single millimetre of accumulated rainfall. This month is tied with August for the driest month out of the year.

Average Sunshine Hours

As for daily sunshine, July has the most with twelve hours of sunlight shining over the island daily. Bring plenty of sunscreen, while a lot of daily sunshine can make for a wonderful holiday, if you don't protect your skin you may end up sidelined from the fun.

Average Sea Temperature

The ocean temperature remains the same as the previous month, hovering at 21°C. While some may still find this a tad chilly, it is comfortable for most to enjoy at the very least a brief swim. There is sure to be plenty of sunshine to help you warm up and dry off after your dip in the sea.
