La Venus de Pepe, Carrer de la Ciutat de Reus, offers lovely Italian and Mediterranean meals including pizza, pasta and desserts such as crème brûlée. Visit all day until late night and enjoy a clean and comfortable environment with wonderful staff. The food is priced reasonably and delicious; the pizza is especially recommended.
La Tortillita
For families with children, La Tortillita is a great choice of restaurant. Food features include Spanish, Tapas, and you can get your food fast. Located near the California Palace Hotel, you'll enjoy a great value away from crowds. La Tortillita has a nice local feel and great service as well as food.
Things to do in Salou in June
Roman Villa Bareny's Salou
Go explore the archaeological park, Roman Villa Bareny's Salou. One of the most important historical sites in the city, this was originally a Roman settlement. Pottery tools dating back to the 1st Centruy BC to the middle of the 2nd Centrury, as well as other archaeological findings, have been well preserved and are available for the public to see. Enjoy a free guided tour on a Monday, Wednesday, or Saturday afternoon during limited hours. Tours are conducted in four languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, and French but much of the educational material is available in Russian and German.
Monumento Els Pilons
Enjoying a late afternoon around the area of Monumento Els Pilons while visiting Salou is a pleasure for all the senses and should be on your list of things to experience. At the end of a hot summer day on the beach, the cool breeze from Pilons will be a relief. Make sure you have your camera to capture the multicolored sunset which is nothing short of spectacular.
