September sees temperatures begin to decline in Saint Tropez, but it still remains very warm. Daytime temperatures still reach a pleasant high of 24°C (76°F) and only fall to 16°C (61°F) in the evenings.
September does tend to be much wetter than previous months, with an average of 65mm throughout the month.
However there is still 8 hours of sunshine each day so you can still spend plenty of time on the beach! Pampelonne Beach is very popular, being situated next to amenities such as showers, toilets, cafes and restaurants.
Away from the beach, you can explore the nature of the area on horseback, with a horse riding centre being located next to Grimaud Castle.
Night life in Saint Tropez is infamous, with a huge array of bars and restaurants to choose from, as well as two casinos if you fancy having a flutter!
Shopping is also excellent in Saint Tropez, with the main boutiques being located in the 'golden triangle' of Rue Gambetta, Place de la Garonne and Rue Al-lard.
Golf lovers will be in their element, with courses in the area including Vernatelle and the Gassin Golf Country Club.
Accommodation does begin to get cheaper at this time of year, especially towards the end of the month.
