November sees temperatures fall dramatically as the winter arrives. Daytime temperatures now only reach up to around 17°C (62°F) and can fall to 9°C (48°F) at night.
There are now just five hours of sunshine each day, and November is the wettest month of the year in Saint Tropez, with 105mm of rainfall on average.
Light clothing would be appropriate during the day, but a jacket or waterproof mac would be a good idea for the evenings and in case of rain.
However, although you may not be able to lay out on the sand, you can still take a pleasant stroll along one of the beaches in the area. Boat tours are also available depending on the weather, and these provide a different way to enjoy the scenic coast line.
Golf is popular in the area all year round, with courses such as and Gassin Golf Country Club.
Of course no trip to Saint Tropez would be complete without a spot of retail therapy! Most of the best boutiques are located in the 'golden triangle' of of Rue Gambetta, Place de la Garonne and Rue Al-lard.
As it is out of season, you can find some fairly good deals on accommodation, whether it is basic or luxury.
Villa Angelina is located just 50m from Grimaud Beach, and is a 20 minute drive from Saint Tropez. Set in beautiful gardens and an ornamental lake, the villa features a range of studios and apartments with a fitted kitchen. Beauvallon Golf Club is right next door.
And Le Petit Prince is situated 15km from the centre of Saint Tropez and is ideally located for a number of activities. Golf de Sainte Maxime is just 3km away, while the Barriere Casino is 50m away. There is also a bar area and a buffet style breakfast each morning.
