February remains fairly mild in Saint Tropez. Daytime temperatures reach a high of around 13°C (55°F) and can fall to 5°C (41°F) in the evenings.
It can also still be relatively wet during February, with the average monthly rainfall being 82mm. However, there are now 6 hours of sunshine each day, so you can still get out and about for a pleasant stroll along one of the many beautiful beaches in the area.
Pampelonne Beach is the most famous and contains the Plage de Tahiti, popularised in the Bridgette Bardot film And God Created Women.
Back in town you can indulge yourself with a spot of shopping, and most boutiques are situated in the 'golden triangle' of Place de la Garonne, Rue Al-lard and Rue Gambetta.
Golf lovers will be spoilt for choice in Saint Tropez, with the Vernatelle offering lessons and a sheltered putting green, and the Gassin Golf Country Club being set among the hills surrounding the village.
Also, equestrians can enjoy the beautiful scenery by going horse riding, with lessons available at the horse riding centre next to Grimaud Castle.
Just five minutes walk from the centre of Saint Tropez is Villa Cosy, which features villa-style rooms set around an outdoor swimming pool. There is a bar on-site and guests can park for free at nearby Les Salins Beach.
Hotel B Lodge is a modern hotel located just 300m from the harbour. There is a buffet style breakfast served every morning and even an English bar on-site!
And Hotel le Mandala is situated right in the heart of Saint Tropez and serves an array of breakfast options in the breakfast room or, in nice weather, on the terrace.
