What's the weather like in Sa Coma in January?

January is one of the two coldest months of the year in Sa Coma. While temperatures are still above freezing and no real threat of frozen precipitation, it is still cold enough for visitors to bring some heavy coats for the evening and early morning hours.

Temperature

The average daily temperature for this time of the year is a cool 9°C (48°F). Temperatures will bottom out first thing in the morning with an average overnight low of 4°C (39°F). Occasionally, temperatures will get cooler than the average, but colder overnight lows are typically short-lived. Afternoon highs will climb to an average of 14°C (57°F). With cool temperatures throughout the day, visitors will need to bring a jacket for all-day wear.

Rain

Visitors during this time of the year will also have to deal with the occasional rain shower. As a result, a quick check of an extended forecast before leaving home will allow travelers to make sure they have packed the correct clothing. The region will receive an average of 37mm of rainfall throughout the month. This rain is spread over an average of 14 days. As a result, half of the month will see measurable rainfall and visitors will have to keep this in mind when planning a vacation during this time of the year.

Sunshine Hours

Despite the rain, visitors will still get to experience an average of 7 hours of sunshine a day during the month.

Sea Temperature

Visitors will not be able to enjoy the water that surrounds the island during the month. This is because sea surface temperatures are far too cold for anyone to enjoy. During this time of the year, water temperatures are some of the coldest they will be all year with an average of only 15°C (59°F). While this is too cool for a swim, there are still plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy while on land and the walks can always be taken along the local beaches.
