What's the Weather Like in Runaway bay in October

Hurricane

Despite the fact that October is still well within the official hurricane season, the threat of storms now begins to move away from Jamaica and Runaway Bay. During this time in the tropical season, most storms develop either to the west or the north of the region and then travel up the east coast of the United States. While there is still the outside chance of a wayward storm, tropical systems are not nearly the same threat now as they are earlier in the season.

Temperature

Overall, temperatures on land continue to cool slightly especially in the afternoon hours as the calendar continues to tick by. The average afternoon high for this time of the year is now 28°C (82°F). While this is still very enjoyable and plenty warm enough for shorts, it is cooler than just one or two month prior. Average overnight lows hold steady from the previous month with temperatures bottoming out at 20°C (68°F). Overall, the average daily temperature is 24°C (75°F).
