What's the Weather Like in Runaway Bay in November

November marks the end of hurricane season and a return to the high season for visitors to Runaway Bay. As a result, prices begin to go back up for both flights and hotels. However, restaurants and other areas are now fully staffed as they might not be during the summer months. While there still a chance of tropical development during the month, much of that occurs well away from the island greatly lessoning the chance of a tropical storm influence.

Hit the Beach

Winnifred Beach

One of the best beaches for families is Winnifred Beach. Located in the eastern part of the country, there are waves big enough to surf and with water temperatures this time of the year at 29°C (84°F), there is plenty of warmth for a swim. The area is shaded by numerous trees and there is a nice stretch of beautiful white sand. Located nearby are several jerk stands and the beach even offers reggae music during the high season.

Parasailing

One way to get a unique view of the island is with parasailing. In November, there are still enough dry days to get out and enjoy some of the adventures the island offers and this is certainly one of them.
