It is still winter in Puerto Pollensa in December. The temperatures drop further-from 13°C the previous month to a low of 10°C, and an occasional 9°C. Just like in November, remember to pack a light jacket and a few pairs of gloves for the cold evenings.
For the most part though, Puerto Pollensa location on the northern-most part of Majorca means that the winters are mild nothing harsh, or temperamental.
Regardless of the low temperatures, Puerto Pollensa is still a great resort to visit in December.
With Christmas approaching, the shopping centres around the resort are a lot busier. Nevertheless, there are numerous shopping facilities - from local art shops and boutique stores, to high-end designer shops and flea markets.
Natives and visitors alike enjoy spending evenings relaxing at the main square. It is a great spot to relax and enjoy a drink.
Most visitors to the resort at this time also tour Cala San Vicente, just 10 to 15 minutes away by bus. The town features silky sand and turquoise blue waters that have made it quite popular.
If you want somewhere to stay, Uyal Hotel is a traditional hotel sat within palm and pine trees near the beach of Puerto Pollensa. The hotel provides for stunning views of the sea as well as the Tramuntana mountain range.
