Puerto de Pollensa is a resort located to the north of Majorca, Spain. Nestled in a bay backed by mountains, the resort enjoys fantastic weather during the summer months. For this reason, it has become a popular holiday destination for tourists from Britain and across the world.

In September, the resort is still enjoying the summer weather, but temperatures have started to drop slightly. As August ends and September begins, the start of the month sees average daily temperatures of 25°C, however these drop to an average of 21°C towards the end of the month. High temperatures can reach a balmy 26°C, with lows of 16°C which usually occur on an evening. The weather is still great at this time of year though and visitors can spend most of their time enjoying the outdoors, day and night.

In terms of sunshine, Puerto de Pollensa sees around 7 sunny hours every day in September, with a 64% chance of a sunny day. The month is generally clear too, with blue skies and only a 2% chance of clouds, so you can top up your tan without being left in the shade.

For beach goers who want to take a dip in the sea, September is a perfect time. The ocean is still warm from the hot summer months, with sea temperatures of 24°C, the second warmest month of the year.

While holiday makers who visit Puerto de Pollensa in September can expect sunshine and high temperatures, there is a much bigger chance of rain than in the peak summer months. There's a 24% chance of a rainy day, with 50mm of rain over 8 days much more than July's 9mm. However, precipitation at this time of year is rarely heavy. The norm is thunderstorms and light drizzle, so your holiday shouldn't be spoiled by wet weather.
