Located just off the main square in Puerto de Pollensa, Tiberi is a quirky restaurant serving cuisine from around the world. Some of its most popular dishes include the hamburgers and the restaurant's savoury crepes. Open from 6pm to 11.30pm every night, Tiberi is a great option for dinner.
Just across the square from Tiberi's is Nico's, a vibrant Tex-Mex restaurant that is a popular choice with families. The restaurant offers something a little different from the usual Spanish cuisine, serving fajitas, enchiladas, burgers and more. It may be too cold to eat on the restaurant's outdoor terrace in January, but Nico's has a fun, vintage American-style dining room inside.
While it is still too cool for the beach and many water sports in January, sailing is an activity that can be enjoyed throughout the year and is a great way to explore the coastline. Most visitors to Puerto de Pollensa choose to participate in the annual celebration of Sant Antoni, the Patron Saint of animals, which runs from the 10th to 17th of January. The Fiesta of Sant Sebastia is held two days later and locals and tourists alike adorn traditional regalia and dance to Majorcan folk songs.
There are several museums to visit around the resort including the Pollensa Municipal Museum located in the old town of Pollensa. It's an ideal place to spend a few hours and learn about the history of the area.
