Things to do in Playa del Ingles in January
If it's not warm enough for the beach, why not head to Sioux City for a real Wild West experience that's fun for all the family. Located just over five miles north east of Playa del Ingles, the town was created in 1971 as a film set, and it is still used today for television shows, movies and advertisements.
With a replica bank, saloon, sheriff's office, cemetery and more, you will feel transported straight to the American Wild West. There are plenty of activities: try horseback riding like a real cowboy, check out the desert and swamp animal exhibits, and enjoy the programme of daily interactive shows, including lasso skills, mock shoot-outs and dramatic stunts.
If you like to get into the swing of things, pay a visit to Minigolf Atlantico. This entertaining and challenging 17 hole mini golf course is fun for adults and children alike. Located in front of Playa del Ingles's Centro Comercial Águila Roja (The Irish Centre), it is open every day.
