Holiday in Phuket

Weather
Very wet for the first week: 19th - 23rd August 2014.
Second week very good no rain at all. Extremely hot & Humid.Holiday
The holiday overall was good, Phuket is a beautiful Island and the Thai people are so friendly.
Our hotel was lovely and the room overlooked the beach and one of the swimming pools. It is the low season the hotel only had one Restaurant open. The food however was excellent.Recommend Phuket to others?

Weather
Weather was very wet in June 2013. Would pour then fine up. Not the best time to go. But love going every year. Lots to do. Stay at Banthai.
Holiday
Lots of shopping, eating and cocktails.
Recommend Phuket to others?
