What's the weather like in Pefkos in August

The holiday resort of Pefkos is located on the east coast of the Greek island of Rhodes and is a small but popular holiday destination. Kolymbia Beach

Kolymbia Beach is about a 30 minute drive from Pefkos beach, it is neighbours with Falkraki but it's much more peaceful. Couples, families and friends would all enjoy it here. There are red and yellow umbrellas available. If you are prepared to explore there are private beaches around this area with fine sand and lovely sea.

Coralli

Pefkos has a fantastic choice of restaurants and cafés where holiday makers can dine out whatever their taste. Recharge after a busy day in the sun by eating a delectable meal at Coralli. Symi Island

Guests visiting Pefkos in August should plan on spending most of their time outdoors to take advantage of the glorious sunshine and high temperatures. Why not spend a day relaxing and seeing the natural sights with a day cruise? Captains Tours provides a range of boat trips, including a day cruise to the nearby island of Symi. Often voted as the most scenic of the Dodecanese islands, Symi is a must-see. The cruise departs from Rhodes and stops at two locations; Panormitis, the site of the famous monastery and the port of Symi.

LEPIA Dive Centre

Alternatively, see Rhodes from another angle with a day of diving in the clear blue sea around the island. Companies such as LEPIA Dive Centre located in Lindos offer a range of courses for beginners or experienced divers so you can add a once in a lifetime experience to your holiday itinerary. Dive in and discover the local wildlife as well as some amazing dive spots such as the beautiful St Paul's Reef.

Glass Bottom Boat Trips

Take a glass bottom boat trip in Pefkos to explore the sea and discover under water animals. This trip is perfect for any ages and isn't too expensive. The options are to goto Lindos, go on a 1.5 hour sea cruise or a 3 bays cruise which takes 2 hours (includes sailing, swimming, sight seeing and a couple of drinks). Every trip sails past the famous cliff that's in the movie 'The Guns of Navarone'. The trips run everyday and can be hired for private parties and weddings.
