The lows drop down to 23°C (around 73°F), so even at night and in the early morning hours, you can enjoy pleasant temperatures. You probably won't even need a jacket or sweater when out at night.

The highs jump up to 28°C (about 82°F), amazing summertime temperatures.

Compared to June, you get almost an hour more of daylight each day, with an average of 10.9 hours. This month gets the most sunshine of any other month in the year.  The chance of having a sunny day is 80 percent, outstanding chances of having a beautiful day to enjoy sightseeing, golfing, or just spending time on the beach and in the water.

If you check the local forecast, you'll see wonderful temperatures and barely any rain. The average rainfall for this month is a scant 10 mm and it only falls over 2 days in the month. This means you may not have any rain at all during your summer holiday, so don't worry about bringing along an umbrella. You will, however, want sunglasses, a hat, and plenty of sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun's rays and avoid a vacation-ruining sunburn.

The sea temperatures are terrific this time of the year too, averaging 26°C (about 78°F), which almost feels like bathwater. On some days, the ocean temperatures may even match the air temperatures, but thanks to the warm sunshine, you'll still be warm getting out of the water. It's a great time of the year to try some watersports like skiing, kite-surfing, and sailing.

With a beautiful indoor grass courtyard, the Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa sets the stage for a sumptuous vacation holiday in Palermo. All the rooms have tasteful decorations, private bathrooms, high-end toiletries, and free internet.
