Temperature
Orlando's weather in July is very hot and humid. If you're not a fan of high temperatures and sauna-like climates then this is not the best month for you to travel. The Groove
The Groove nightclub on CityWalk Universal is the hottest place to be after dark. This multi-level club may look like an old theatre but it has the latest sound systems, special effects and video screens. Every night of the week you can dance to the best Top 40, Hip Hop, R&B and pop music. If you need a breather, there are plenty of bars and themed lounges to kick back in.
Things to do in Orlando in July
Universal Studios
If you can bear the humidity, make your way to Universal Studios based in a real film production facility. Step right into your favourite movies and TV programmes as you experience a star-studded range of rides, shows and movie sets. You may even catch a film crew at work! Go behind the scenes with Disaster and Horror Make-Up Show and become part of the action in the exhilarating Revenge of The Mummy and Twister rides.
Fly through the sky on a bicycle with E.T. Adventure, shoot some aliens on the Men In Black ride and be sure to check out the new Transformers ride. Daring enough to ride Orlando's tallest rollercoaster Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit? You get to choose your own soundtrack before strapping in, and the whole ride will be recorded on video for you to edit. After a long day at the park, stroll down CityWalk's lined shops, restaurants, bars and clubs.
Kennedy Space Centre
If you'd rather escape the heat by staying inside, Kennedy Space Centre is well worth a visit. Walk under the largest rocket in the world, experience a shuttle launch, touch a moon rock and dine with a veteran NASA astronaut. Aquatica
It may be boiling hot but you can cool down at one of SeaWorld's other parks. Aquatica water park is home to a range of rides and slides for the whole family. Be sure to go on Dolphin Plunge where you shoot down a tube submerged in a tank of dolphins they might even race you as you zoom past.

There's also the Kissimmee Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration during the day at Lakefront Park with a variety of festivities including live bands, street performers, and arts and crafts, culminating with fireworks in the evening.
Disney World
Disney World is famous for its spectacular fireworks, so if you're at one of its parks you will not be disappointed by their 4th of July displays. Magic Kingdom has a fireworks show with patriotic music every night from July 2 to July 7, so you can't miss it. Hollywood Studios has a rock and roll fireworks display on 4th July at 10:15pm while Epcot adds a special 4th of July tribute to its Illuminations show at 10pm.
