Drip
After some after-dinner entertainment? Look no further than Drip on International Drive. Performance art meets live rock 'n' rock music for this unique show where the dancers use sand, water and paint to create a vibrant display. You will get wet and messy, so wear old clothes. Enjoy a coloured beer or glass of vino and sit back and enjoy the show. No one under 21 admitted.
Things to do in Orlando in April
Typhoon Lagoon
If the heat is too much for you, why not head to one of the many water-based attractions. Disney World has two great waterparks, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. At the tropical-themed Typhoon Lagoon there's something for everyone, from thrilling waterslides to a kids' play area for younger visitors. Catch a wave in the Surf Pool, drift down Castaway Creek, snorkel with real sharks at Shark Reef and try out the new Crush 'n' Gusher water coaster.
Blizzard Beach
For a real cool down, head to the snow-themed Blizzard Beach. It may look like a ski resort, complete with chair lift, but it's actually an aquatic wonderland boasting one of the world's tallest free-falling waterslides, a one-acre wave pool, as well as attractions for the entire family. Kids will enjoy the snow-castle play area, thrill seekers will love the Toboggan Racers and Runoff Rapids, and if you just want to chill out, grab your inflatable ring and float down Cross Country Creek.
SeaWorld
Even more wet and wild fun can be found at the world's favourite marine park, SeaWorld. Meet the famous Shamu and a family of killer whales in the Shamu Show, marvel as dolphins flip about in Blue Horizons and enjoy some comical walruses and sealions in Clyde and Seamour take Pirate Island.
Experience extraordinary animal encounters with penguins, turtles, polar bears, stingrays and sharks. You can even dine with these fearsome fish at Sharks Underwater Grill. If you're daring enough, take on Orlando's tallest and only floorless coaster Kraken, the log-flume style Journey to Atlantis, or the water coaster Manta.

Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival
Disney's Epcot celebrates Spring in style with the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival which runs between March and May. Learn tips and techniques from the themed flower and garden displays, admire the topiary displays of Disney characters, and watch artists from the 60s and the 70s perform in the Flower Power Concert Series.
Florida Film Festival
Movie lovers should see what's going on at the Florida Film Festival, not far away in Maitland. Each year this highly ranked festival premieres more than 170 cutting-edge films. Over the 10 days the event screens American independent films, international cinema, documentaries, animation and midnight movies. The film festival also features experimental new media, free seminars for aspiring filmmakers, as well as wine-tasting and gastronomical offerings.
