November sees a significant decrease in average rainfall as compared to the previous month of October. However, it also has the least average daily sunshine hours for the year at 7 per day.
Temperature
The benefits of having fewer sunshine hours as compared to previous months, is there is a significant drop in the average temperature, expected to be 27°C for the month with dips to 24°C the coolest it has been in months. The lower temperature will allow a slightly more bearable air temperature when you are not swimming or inside an air conditioned room.
Daily temperature averages vary between 29°C to 27°C during the month. On the whole, temperatures reduce slightly as the month progresses, signifying the reappearance of winter. As Ocho Rios is located so close to the equator, there are minimal temperature differences throughout the year, however, a 1°C or 2°C difference separates the summer and winter months. In this instance, you could consider November to be autumn in the traditional sense.
