Obzor, a small town and a beautiful seaside resort located on the Black Sea Coast of Bulgaria. Obzor town is relatively small with a population of around 2500 inhabitants and is located 65 km south of Varna and 73 km north of Burgas. Obzor is situated in the skirts of the eastern part of the Stara Planina Mountain where the mountain ridge rises to the west of the city; to the north is the Dvoynitsa River. Obzorâs beach, which is known as one of the longest beaches in Bulgaria at 8km, extends from St. Atanas in the north all the way to Mona Petra Cape in the south. Although Obzor is a small town with a modest population, during its peak holiday season it becomes a popular holiday destination.
Obzor beach is considered to be one of the safest and most attractive beaches in Bulgaria. As well as crystal clear waters and golden sand, the beach has a walkway lined with lively cafes and bars. Hotels in Obzor range from large luxurious resorts to small family hotels. There are also campsites between the towns of Byala and Obzor. Being one of the most ancient settlements in Bulgaria, Obzor is steeped in rich history and is home to some striking Roman and Greek architecture.

Climate
As Bulgaria is located in the southeast of Europe, Obzor enjoys an enviable Mediterranean climate that is both temperate and pleasant year-round. The climate of Obzor is warm and temperate with hot summers and little rainfall in all months. During summer, Obzor gets an average temperature of 26 C and approximately 31 C. Summer
